Training at BWI Airport

Recently, crews from the Elkridge VFD were invited to train with crews from the BWI Fire Rescue Department. The training was held at their Training Center and involved using a small plane simulation prop. Our firefighters trained on multiple scenarios. Some of the scenarios involved shutting off the fuel to a burning plane and others involved rescuing a patient from a burning plane.
